The natural range of colours is anthing with N in its name, with 1N being darkest and  10 N the lightest.They are as close to the natural God given colours of human hair as is possible and are designed to cover grey.  If you are trying to lighten the hair then you will only be able to go about one shade lighter because of the natural ingredients, but you may go several shades darker.

The other colours with a different identifier are fashion colours and you will have to mix the fashion colour in equal amounts with a natural colour to cover grey hair.
