Suncoat Sugar Based Technology

The basis of Suncoat’s new natural hair styling products is its Sugar Based Technology.
The HOLDING AGENT in all hair styling products is the most important ingredient, forming a clear or invisible layer over the hair to ensure that hair is held perfectly in place.
Conventional hair styling products use synthetic plastics such as PVP (polyvinyl pyrrolidone polymer), acrylic copolymers, VA (vinyl acetate) polymer and acrylamide polymer as the HOLDING AGENT. Most other “natural” hair styling products also use these ingredients to hold the hair in place.
These holding agents are synthetic plastics which are derived from petroleum and are not biodegradable, so definitely not environmentally friendly, nor the best choice for putting on your hair.
THESE INGREDIENTS ARE CONTAMINATED, TOXIC AND REACTIVE.
They contain trace elements of chemicals ( monomers) such as vinyl pyrrolidone monomer, vinyl acetate monomer, acrylic acid and acrylate monomers. These monomers are the starting materials for producing these plastics
Suncoat on the other hand has used natural multi-sugar biopolymers (polysaccharides) as the styling ingredient in its natural hair styling products. These natural multi-sugar biopolymers which are complex carbohydrates are easily biodegradable and are obtained from renewable resources such as corn and vegetables.
The polysaccharides used in the Suncoat Natural Hair Styling Products will not cause health problems, nor will they harm our fragile, already heavily polluted environment.
This unique sugar based technology enables Suncoat Hair Styling Products to be free of petrochemicals and delivers superior styling performance.
